Our Back Story...

Taylormade Acoustic Duo and Live Wedding Band were created by vocalist, Carley, and guitarist, Matt, for three main reasons:

1) Their love of music 2) Their ambition to become professional musicians 3) the potential to offer couples something really special and unique for their wedding day.

Both Carley and Matt were experienced musicians and so took the 'leap of faith' in 2008 to make Taylormade their full time occupation. Taylormade has since established itself as one of the UK’s most talented and popular Acoustic Duos and have continued to build a great reputation, performing at hundreds of weddings and events throughout the UK.

With absolute dedication to their performances, they received excellent feedback from every one of their engagements, from weddings and high profile events to charity balls and playing as resident musicians in high-class restaurants.  Our Acoustic Duo have even played a part in a popular BBC television series, focusing on modern Weddings ('Don't Tell The Bride' - broadcast in September 2009), and played for the Silver Wedding Anniversary of a former Olympic 400m Hurdler (sorry - no name dropping here!)  We've even played at David Blunkett (MP) son's Wedding and performed for the Mayor of Milton Keynes and Kettering! You could say we're not your average Wedding Band!

Following this success, we expanded to form our 4-Piece Wedding Band. With Carley’s passion and talent to deliver a more lively performance and with Matt eager to pick up the electric guitar again, Taylormade spread their wings to offer the electric 4-Piece Live Wedding Band.

Taylormade are now one of the UK’s most sought after Live Wedding Bands, performing across the country in prestigious venues such as Woburn Abbey, The Grosvenor House Hotel in Central London (where The Brit Awards is filmed!) and the iconic National Trust Venue, Waddesdon Manor.

Taylormade have also entertained corporate companies such as Tesco, Currys and Pizza Express and have recently performed for the British Armed Forces as well as Charity Events for Marie Curie 'Walk To Remember' and also the inagural Macmillan Northamptonshire County Ball in March 2017.

It’s an exciting time for this talented Wedding Band...will we be at your Wedding next!?
