Taylormade become exclusive suppliers to Royal Pump Rooms and Jephson's Gardens, Leamington Spa

Royal Pump Rooms Warwickshire Wedding Band

We are incredibly proud and delighted to say that both our Acoustic Duo and Live Wedding Band have become preferred suppliers to The Royal Pump Rooms and Jephson's Gardens Wedding Venues in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. If you are getting married in Warwickshire then we definitely recommend you consider these historic venues!

Queen Victoria herself visited The Pump Rooms many times in the 1800's, with stunning glass ceiling and regal assembly room.

Jephson's Gardens are over 200 years old and were the 'place to be seen' by the wealthy and aristocracy. In fact, in 2004 the park was voted 'The Best Garden In England' with it's fountains and ornamental lake.

These breathtaking and prestigious places have been voted amongst the finest wedding venues in the UK and it is an absolute honour to have been appointed as highly recommended and exclusive wedding suppliers.

We are now part of a select few local wedding businesses that are able to provide their service to Brides and Grooms getting married at either of these wedding venues.

Both venues are stunning and the regal architecture would look amazing in your wedding photos! Plus, who doesn't want to say they were married were royalty once visited?!

Jo and Kelvin's Wedding - Towcester Rugby Club, 13th May 2017

Taylormade Wedding Band - Towcester Rugby Club

We first met the lovely Jo and Kelvin when they came along to one of our Public Showcases in Daventry, and were so impressed by our performances that they confirmed on the spot for their wedding on 13th May 2017!

When the big day came, we were very excited to head the 20 minutes drive down the road to Towcester Rugby Club in Northamptonshire to perform for the brand new Mr and Mrs Dryden!

We started by performing a beautiful 45 minute set with our Acoustic Duo as the evening guests arrived, to bring a stunning atmosphere to the start of evening celebrations.

WEDDING DAY TIP: Having an early evening acoustic set as your evening guests arrive really adds a spark to the evening. It creates a beautiful atmosphere and really sets the tone for the night ahead, and unlike a DJ, it's discreet enough to still allow conversation to flow.

After the evening guests had arrived it was time for Jo and Kelvin's First Dance - Rule The World by Take That which we performed as the 4 Piece Live Band. It was an amazing moment as they took to the floor for their First Dance as Husband and Wife, and all of their friends and family joined them on the dance floor to celebrate the emotional moment.

Straight after the First Dance we kicked into the 4 Piece Live Band set to a packed dance floor, and the dancing didn't stop until we finished the night with our DJ at 12.00am! So much so that a few days later we received this glowing review from Jo on our Taylormade Duo and Live Band Facebook Page.

Taylormade Wedding Band Review - Jo Dryden

Jo's review says:

"Carley, I want to thank you and the band for your fantastic performance at our wedding, you were pivotal in creating the wedding we intended.

Your set was just perfect and you managed to keep everyone entertained for the afternoon and evening. You were sensational and I cannot recommend you highly enough!!"

Thank you so much for the lovely review Mrs Dryden! It really was a beautiful wedding and an absolute pleasure to be a part of your special day. We wish you both all the very best for your lives together with days filled with sunshine and laughter.

Lots of love,

Carley, Matt and the boys xx

Live Wedding Band - New Demo - Saw Her Standing There (The Beatles)

Live Wedding Band Beatles

All 4 members of Taylormade Wedding Band have been working hard in the studio lately working on some brand new demos for our website. With new songs being added all the time, we like to keep things fresh and show the variety and depth of our repertoire in our demos.

The first demo we are releasing is the infectious 'Saw Her Standing There' By The Beatles. Written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon in 1963 and released on their debut album 'Please Please Me', this track continues to fill dance floors every time we play this at a Wedding or Party, so we thought it would be a great choice.

As you can hear it's a track that every member of the band has fun with...energetic vocals from Carley, fantastic harmonies from the boys and a fun and rock and roll solo from guitarist Matt. We really hope you enjoy the demo and we look forward to playing it at your Wedding or Party very soon!

Festive Frolics at Camilla & Gareth's Wedding - Dodmoor House Northamptonshire

Dodmoor House Live Band 2014.jpg

It was a real honour to be asked to play for Camilla and Gareth’s wedding this weekend at the stunning Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire.

Taylormade have been performing for Weddings at Dodmoor House for almost 6 years now and we are proud to have become one of their preferred suppliers.

We began our part in their big day by playing in the courtyard barn for the Drinks Reception whilst Camilla and Gareth had their photos taken with their guests. The brand new Mr and Mrs Anthony were then taken off in their Wedding cars.....a Rolls Royce Phantom and Ghost for some amazing shots nearby!

Camilla and Gareth had chosen some gorgeous songs for their day with a mix of festive favourites too. We played tracks like ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perry, ‘We Found Love’ by Rihanna through to ‘Last Christmas’ by Wham and ‘White Christmas’ by Bing Crosby which had everyone crooning along!

Our second set was early evening as the evening guests were arriving. This was a more lively affair with spontaneous dancing breaking out and some hilarious backing vocals from guests along to ‘Save Tonight’ by Eagle Eye Cherry, ‘Ghost’ by Ella Henderson and ‘All I Want For Christmas’ by Mariah Carey. We were sorry when our set came to an end and had a brilliant time performing for this lovely couple.

We’d like to wish Camilla and Gareth the very best for their lives together and thank you guys so much for having us play on your special day.

Carley and Matt x

Camilla and Gareth's Wedding shows just how our Acoustic Duo can play a fantastic and versatile part in your Wedding Day:

As with the first set above, we can play beautiful background music during the Drinks Reception, adding a lovely atmosphere whilst you sip Champagne and allowing your photographer to organise everyone with ease to get all the shots you want of those special memories. At Dodmoor House we set up in the Courtyard Barn which meant guests could stroll throughout the venue and gardens, whist still being within earshot of our performance.

The second set was just perfect for a smooth transition into the night, for greeting the evening guests and warming everyone up ready for the evening entertainment.

More lively than the previous set, an early evening set is perfect for that crossover time where the Wedding Breakfast has finished but the evening party has not yet started and the venue need to take some time to turn the room around. This keeps guests entertained, warming them up for the DJ/Wedding Disco but also giving guests some time to relax and allowing the Bride and Groom to greet and chat with their evening guests in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Dodmoor House is the perfect venue for this as the courtyard barn is separate to the main dancing area meaning the venue can turn the room around ready for the evening party without having to disturb the guests or making them go outside into the cold.

We really hope these tips will give you some ideas how we can add a brilliant touch to your day and give you some things to consider when choosing your wedding entertainment or venue.
